Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for:
 
Ridgeland High School
New East Office and Entrance
 
will be received at the Offices of the Madison County School District, 476 Highland Colony Parkway, Ridgeland, MS 39157, at 2:00 o’clock p.m. local time, on June 26, 2018, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. All contract documents will be issued electronically.
 
Official bid documents can be downloaded from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com.  Electronic bids can also be submitted at www.centralbidding.com.  For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814.
 
A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 o’clock p.m. local time, on June 7, 2018 at Ridgeland High School, 586 Sunnybrook Road, Ridgeland, MS, 39157.
 
Bid preparation will be in accordance with Instructions to Bidders bound in the project manual.  Madison County Schools reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids submitted.
 
Bids must be submitted on the form to be furnished by the architect and must be accompanied by bid bond or certified check for at least five percent (5%) of the base bid payable to Madison County Schools.
 
Bid envelope must contain on the outside of the envelope, the Contractor’s current Certificate of Responsibility Number and the Contractor’s License Number unless a statement on the exterior says that the bid enclosed is less than or did not exceed $50,000.00.  Envelope containing bids must be sealed, marked and addressed as follows:
