Jackson Endeavor Museum is located at 4111 Gov. Rick Scott Drive, Marianna, FL 32448. The Jackson Endeavor Museum (formerly the cafeteria of the Dozier School for Boys) is a 10,144-sf historic building that was severely damaged by Hurricane Michael. Selective demolition is to be performed with extreme care to maintain the existing façade. Bidders must have experience in the selective demolition of historical structures.

Plans, specifications, and contract documents will be made available and open to public inspection at the office listed above or may be obtained from: 
upon payment of $ 75.00 per set which amount constitutes the cost of reproduction and handling. This payment will not be refunded. Electronic copies will be provided at no cost.

If you choose to submit your response via www.centralbidding.com you will still be required to submit sealed bids in accordance with the instructions included in the Project Bid Documents.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference shall be held for the project at the project site, at 10:00 AM CT, Thursday, August 22, 2024.

The Owner plans to open bids and publicly read aloud on 2:00 PM CT, Thursday, September 12, 2024 or thereafter, at County Commission Meeting Room located at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, FL 32448.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable according to the Department of Treasury Circular 570.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
Bidders are encouraged to solicit Minority and Service-Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation and provide documentation of such solicitation.

IN PARTICULAR, BIDDERS SHOULD NOTE THE REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS TO BE EXECUTED AND SUBMITTED WITH THE BID PROPOSAL FORM.
