The Morgan City Harbor and Terminal District (“MCHTD”) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to purchase a BLUE FORCE TRACKING SYSTEM (“BFTS”) to be used on marine equipment owned by the MCHTD.
The MCHTD owns a security vessel which operates throughout the geographical area of the Morgan City Harbor and Terminal District (“District”).
The BFTS shall be a fully integrated radar/GPS-based tracking system that will enable the MCHTD to monitor the movement of its fleet. BFTS will be used as a tool to optimize fleet utilization, routing, preventive maintenance planning and coordination of emergency responses through its existing command and control system.
Prospective proposers must be able to provide complete implementation, installation, integration training and on-going support of the system and other related services as required.
