CAFETERIA HVAC IMPROVEMENTS

Sealed bids subject to the conditions and provisions presented herein will be received until 1:00 p.m. Local Time, on Monday, March 18, 2024, and then publicly opened and read at Pearl River County School District Office located at 130 Alphabet Avenue, Carriere, MS 39426, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete:  Pearl River County School District – Cafeteria HVAC Improvements. Electronic bids can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com. For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call 225-810-4814.  The work under this contract includes Pearl River County School District – Cafeteria HVAC Improvements necessary to replace three existing heat pump units with three new units and shall include all modifications necessary to existing ductwork as shown in the contract documents to accommodate the new units. Work shall include electrical work required to support the replacement of heat pump units as shown in the contract documents. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Thursday, 2:00 p.m. local time, February 29, 2024, at Pearl River County School District Office located at 130 Alphabet Avenue, Carriere, MS 39426.  All interested parties are urged to attend this conference.

Bid preparation will be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders bound in the Documents.  The Pearl River County School District reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and/or all bids.  Additional information and assistance regarding this bid opportunity, the MS Procurement Technical Assistance Program, and local contract procurement center may be found at www.mscpc.com.  Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs. Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded ino whole by the Pearl River County School District.
