Notice is hereby given that a sealed Request for Proposal (RFP) will be received by the Lafayette Parish School Board Purchasing Department, located at 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, Louisiana, 70508.  Delivery to any other department other than the Purchasing Department is unacceptable and may result in non-consideration of the proposal.

Garbage Collection & Recycling Services
 
 RFP# 79-19
 
 
The purpose of this RFP is to obtain competitive proposals from qualified firms interested in providing Garbage Collection and Recycling Services to Lafayette Parish School District.
 
A Request for Proposal package may be obtained on the Purchasing Department website at https://www.lpssonline.com/site638.php.  Proposal information may also be viewed online, and electronic proposals may be submitted online at www.centralauctionhouse.com.  Specifications will be available Friday April 12, 2019.
 
At the above stated date and time only the names of the proposal respondents will be read aloud in the Personnel Conference Room.
 
The Lafayette Parish School System strongly encourages the participation of minority business enterprises in all contracts or procurements let by the Board for goods and services. To that end, all contractors and suppliers are encouraged to utilize minority business enterprises in the purchase or sub-contracting of materials, supplies, and services in which minority owned businesses are available. 
 
The owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals for just cause.
