Notice is hereby given that sealed Request for Proposal (RFP) will be received by the Lafayette Parish School Board Purchasing Department located at 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, LA 70508.  Delivery to any other department other than the Purchasing Department is unacceptable and may result in non-consideration of the proposal.

Temporary Modular Building / Portable Classroom Leasing Services
 
 RFP# 19-17
 
The RFP #19-17 is to obtain competitive proposals from qualified individuals and firms to provide for the leasing and installation of new and/or used temporary modular building portable classrooms for Westside Elementary students, faculty, and staff at Scott Middle School in Scott, LA within Lafayette Parish School District.
 
A Request for Proposal package may be obtained from the Purchasing Department of the Lafayette Parish School System located at 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, LA  70508 or on the Purchasing Department website at www.lpssonline.com/purchasing.  Proposal information may also be viewed online, and electronic proposals may be submitted online at www.centralauctionhouse.com.  Specifications will be available Friday November 4, 2016.
 
At the above stated date and time only the names of the proposal respondents will be read aloud in the Personnel Conference Room.
 
The Lafayette Public School System strongly encourages the participation of minority business enterprises in all contracts or procurements let by the Board for goods and services.  To that end, all contractors and suppliers are encouraged to utilize minority business enterprises in the purchase of sub-contracting of materials, supplies, and services in which minority owned businesses are available.
 
The owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals for just cause.

Additional Notes/Requirements

A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will take place at the site, Scott Middle School, 116 Marie Street, Scott, LA 70583 on November 7, 2016 at 1:00 PM CST in order to aid in familiarizing potential proposal respondents with the area/site associated with the specifications described within this section of the RFP. Potential proposal respondents are asked to check in at the front desk at Scott Middle School and sign-in as a visitor attending the Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting. There will also be a sign-in sheet handed out by the Planning & Facilities Director prior to the meeting beginning.
