The City of Marianna (City) is seeking sealed bids from professional sports lighting firms (Contractor) to complete a Recreational Lighting Upgrade Project (Project) to provide adequate sports lighting for Baseball Field’s #3 and #4 located at the Marianna Educational Recreational Expo (MERE) in Marianna, FL. This “turnkey” Project includes the replacement of outdated light fixtures along 12 existing light poles including associated light bulbs, electrical wiring, switches, and other required electrical/lighting components.
 
Bids for these services will be received until 2:00 PM CST, Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the City of Marianna Clerk’s Office located at 2895 Jefferson Street, Marianna, FL 32446. At that time, or shortly thereafter, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read at the Marianna City Hall Commission Chambers located at 2897 Jefferson Street, Marianna, FL 32446.
 
LATE SUBMITTALS RECEIVED AFTER THE FOREMENTIONED DEADLINE DATE, EITHER BY MAIL, OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND RETURNED UNOPENED. THE TIME OF RECEIPT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE TIME RECEIVED IN THE PURCHASING AGENT'S OFFICE. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE FIRM FOR ASSURING THAT THE SUBMITTAL IS RECEIVED IN THE PURCHASING OFFICE BY THE DESIGNATED DATE AND TIME. NO FAXED, ELECTRONIC, OR ORAL SUBMITTAL WILL BE ACCEPTED. FIRM/INDIVIDUALS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DELIVERY OF ITS SUBMITTAL.  SUBMITTALS RECEIVED AFTER THE SPECIFIED DAY AND TIME WILL NOT BE OPENED.
