Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City   Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on July 25, 2023, at 10:00 am local time for this project, at which time bids will be opened and read.
 
Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on July 11, 2023, at 10:00 am local time.
 
Project Scope: Coat the walls and floor of existing concrete secondary chemical containment areas at the Ed Love Water Treatment Plant per the technical specifications and drawings.
                                                                                               
Award of the contract will be made within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of the bid opening.
 
Plans and Specifications:  Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open for public inspection at the office of Infrastructure and Public Services Administration, located at 2201 University Blvd., Tuscaloosa, Alabama and  plans,  specifications  and  other  elements  of  the  contract  documents  may  be  obtained  from  the  office  of  the Engineer  Jacobs Engineering Group, designated as the office of the awarding authority for this purpose, located at    1 Perimeter Park S, Suite 100N, Birmingham, AL 35243 .  The contact person for the project is   Alex Houston, P.E.  They can be reached at  [email protected].
