Sealed bids will be received by the Vernon Parish School Board at 201 Belview Road, Leesville, Louisiana 71446 for Job #2016-02.2 ADDITIONS AND ALTERATIONS TO PICKERING SCHOOLS, Leesville, LA until 2:00 PM, March 22nd, 2017 at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Complete Bid Documents may be obtained from Yeager, Watson & Associates, Inc., an Architectural Corporation, 808 Versailles Boulevard, Alexandria, Louisiana 71303-2377, (318) 445-2446, upon deposit of $150.00 for each set of documents. The deposit is fully refundable to all bona fide prime bidders upon return of the documents, in good condition, no later than fifteen (15) days after the receipt of bids. The deposit of sets of documents returned later than fifteen (15) days will not be refunded. Electronic bids may be submitted at WWW.CENTRALAUCTIONHOUSE.COM.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and all additive alternates and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond. The Successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date for receipt of bids.
Bidders must meet requirements of the State of Louisiana Contractor's Licensing Law R.S. 37:2151-2163.
Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies and provisions, produced, manufactured or grown in Louisiana, quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside of the State. Preference provided by R.S. 38:225 will be used if applicable.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for cause. Bids which deviate from the project plans and specifications will not be considered.
A PRE-BID meeting will be held at the Pickering High School Campus, 180 LeBleu Road, Leesville, Louisiana 71446 on Tuesday, March 14th, 2017, at 11:00 AM.
