1. BIDS - The Bogalusa School Board (BSB) will receive sealed Bids on the below referenced Project at 1705 Sullivan Drive, Bogalusa, Louisiana 70427 until 2:00 P.M. local time, on November 09, 2021 at which time all bids duly received will be opened publicly and read aloud.
2. WORK DESCRIPTION – Central Elementary School Classroom Building Roof Replacement as indicated in Section 01010 of this specification.
3. BIDDING DOCUMENTS - Complete Bidding Documents may be obtained from: Bidding Documents may be obtained from the office of the Architect, fl+WB Architects, APC, on deposit of the sum of Eighty Dollars ($80.00), excluding shipping. This deposit for the first set of Bidding Documents will be refunded in full to Prime Bidders upon return of the Bidding Documents, including all Addenda, in good condition within ten days after receipt of bids.
Deposits for subsequent sets of Bidding Documents and sets requested by Non-Prime Bidders shall be refunded, except that the cost of reproduction shall be deducted upon the return of such Bidding Documents, including all Addenda, in good condition within ten days after receipt of Bids. Bidding Documents will be shipped only if the requesting party makes all arrangements and assumes responsibility for all shipping charges.

4. BID BOND - Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidder's Base Bid plus all Alternates shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. 5. DEADLINE FOR AWARD - Subject to an extension of the period for holding Bids, as permitted in LSA-R.S. 38:2215, the BSB will act within forty-five (45) days after the date of Bid opening to award the Contract or reject all Bids. Bids shall not be subject to withdrawal except as provided in the instruction to Bidders.
