Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for the Gus Engeling WMA Maintenance Project.  We are having a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site showing to interested contractors from our bidders list at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 27th, 2023. We will meet at the main gate to Gus Engeling WMA, Anderson County, TX 75861 (31°54'25.98"N; 95°54'9.36"W).
 
This project generally consists of 420LF of roadway enhancements, elevation adjustment and restoration of two existing 85LF rock spillways, installation of 1-36” corrugated aluminum pipe with canal gate and timber access walkway, repair of an existing levee breach, and 120LF of bank stabilization. This work shall also include performing the necessary mobilization, site preparation, pollution control, and other items outlined in the plans and specifications or associated with constructing the project according to the plans and specifications. The Contractor shall be responsible for any necessary pollution control measures. The unit price bid for the project shall be payment in full for supplying all materials, equipment, labor and any other necessary incidental items necessary for performing all operations described herein. Unit prices are required as part of the base bid of this contract. Contract completion time is 90 calendar days.
