Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for the Atchafalaya Delta Crevasse Project Phase II. We are having a MANDATORY SITE SHOWING to interested contractors from our bidders list at 10:00 a.m. CST on March 9th, 2022.  We will meet at the Jesse Fontenot Memorial Boat Launch located south of Berwick , LA. and then proceed to the project site. Contractors wishing to inspect the site will need to bring shallow draft boats to access the back bay areas (airboats will NOT be needed) while still navigating the Lower Atchafalaya River.
 
The Atchafalaya Delta Crevasse Project Phase II consists of excavating approximately 6,945 linear of feet of crevasses and 2,206 linear feet of bankline excavation.  This work shall also include performing the necessary items outlined in the plans and specifications and associated with constructing the project according to the plans.  Contract completion time is 60 calendar days.  Bid opening is 12:00 p.m. (Noon) CST on March 18, 2022 in through Central Bidding.
