INVITATION TO BID FOR QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS FOR ELECTRICAL, ROOF STRUCTURAL WORK AND ROOF REPLACEMENT.
 
Bids Accepted Until Thursday, January 27, 2022 @ 2:00 P.M. 
The City of Pine Bluff, Economic & Community Development Department will accept bids for electrical work, roof structural work and roof replacement to three buildings on Main Street in Pine Bluff, AR.  The bid documents and scope of work are available for viewing at the office of Economic and Community Development at 716 S. Georgia St, Pine Bluff.   Official bid documents can be downloaded and submitted from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com.  For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814.
 
In order to be eligible to submit a bid, all interested contractors or their representatives must meet the minimum contractor’s requirement to do businesses in both the City of Pine Bluff and State of Arkansas. All contractor qualifications on file must be current at the time contract is awarded and remain current throughout the completion of the project.

Sealed bids can only be submitted electronically to www.centralbidding.com or a hard copy delivery to Office of the City Clerk, 200 East 8th Ave.  Rm. 202, City Hall, Pine Bluff, AR  71601.  ALL BIDS MUST BE RECEIVED on or before Thursday, January 27, 2022 @ 2 P.M. at which time they will be opened and examined. 
 
The Community Development Department, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all informalities. Questions concerning any of these items should be voiced before the submission of bids.
 
The consideration of bid award as the Department’s choice, barring extraordinary circumstances, shall be given to the qualified contractor(s) with the lowest responsible bid, with strong consideration given to timely performance.
