Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Simpson County, Mississippi will receive sealed bids up until 9:00 a.m. on January 15, 2025, for bids to furnish said County for a period of one year beginning on the  1st day of February, 2025 for the following: processed gravel, raw gravel, fill dirt, other materials and services needed and necessary and commonly used or designated for use in construction, maintenance and repair of the public roads, highways and bridges, including equipment and labor provided for bridge construction or repair on a unitized basis, services for grading roads, services for repairing roads, on a per mile basis, and for other services necessary for the construction and maintenance of roads and bridges, including laying of hot mix asphalt, fog seal, slurry seal and single bituminous and double bituminous with rock seal and any other road construction or maintenance methods.
Sealed Bids shall be filed at or before 9:00 a.m. on January 15, 2025, at the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room at 111 West Pine Avenue, Mendenhall, MS  39114 or may be mailed and received by the above deadline to the Simpson County Board of Supervisors, P.O. Box 308, Mendenhall, MS 39114.  Sealed bids may also be submitted at www.centralbidding.com.  
The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and said bids are to be filed with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Chancery Building, Mendenhall, Mississippi, and the bids must be specific as to kind, quality, sizes, and dimensions of the items to be furnished.
