REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
CHANCERY RECORDS DIGITIZATION AND ARCHIVAL
SCOTT COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI
Pursuant to an order of the Scott County Board of Supervisors, adopted on February 22, 2022,
public notice is given that sealed proposals for Chancery Records Digitization and Archival for
Scott County, Mississippi will be received by the Board of Supervisors in the Comptroller's
Office until 9:00am on April 8, 2022. Official bid documents may be accessed digitally at
www.centralbidding.com . Electronic responses and official proposal documents may also be
submitted at www.centralbidding.com. For any questions about the use of
www.centralbidding.com, prospective proposers should contact (225) 810-4814. Physical
copies will be provided upon request at the Scott County Courthouse, located at 100 E. Main
Street in Forest, MS. Proposals must be received on or before 9:00am on April 8, 2022 for
consideration.
A public opening of proposals will be held at 10:00am on April 8, 2022 in the Scott County
Board of Supervisors Boardroom located within the Scott County Courthouse. The Scott County
Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive minor
informalities in any proposal, and to make an award in any manner, consistent with law,
deemed in the best interest of the County.
This document is intended to describe qualities and characteristics determined to be conducive
to the effective, efficient, economical, and beneficial digitization and archival of Chancery
records in Scott County. It is the intent of the County to accept proposals from companies with
a proven track record of successful projects similar in scope and size to the one solicited in this
RFP and to as a result provide an enhanced experience to the public and those that utilize
Chancery records.
Envelopes containing proposals should include the legal name of the proposer and be sealed,
