Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City
Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on _October 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m._ local time for this
project, at which time bids will be opened and read.
Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for
a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the
Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on October 3, 2023, at 10:00 a.m._
local time.
Project Scope: Line existing corrugated metal pipe (CMP) at two locations and an alternate. The
first location of the base bid is 26th Street and includes approximately 416 linear feet of 36”
round pipe. The second location of the base bid is 26th Avenue and includes approximately 113
linear feet of 90” round pipe. The additional alternate location is 3496 Firethorn Drive and
includes approximately 61 linear feet of 42” round pipe.
Award of the contract will be made within fifty (50) calendar days from the date of the bid
opening.
Plans and Specifications: Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open
for public inspection at the office of Office of the City Engineer, located at 2202 University Blvd.,
Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 and plans, specifications and other elements of the contract
documents may be obtained from the Office of the Engineer , designated as the office of
