INVITATION TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received on April 14, 2022, by the Bayou Lafourche Fresh Water District (BLFWD) at 1016 St Mary Street, Thibodaux, Louisiana 70301 until 2:00 P.M. At exactly 2:00 P.M., all bids will be publicly opened and read in the BLFWD Conference Room. Subsequent to the opening, the bid/bids will be evaluated by the appropriate party/parties and will be presented to the BLFWD President for handling in accordance with the Louisiana Public Bid Law.
Bid documents are posted on the Central Auction House website under BLFWD Opportunities, which can be found at the link https://www.centralauctionhouse.com/rfpc10092-bayou-lafourche-fresh-water-district.html. To view these, download, and receive bid notices by e-mail, you must register with Central Auction House. Vendors/Contractors have the option to submit their bids electronically or by paper copy. Each bid shall be either hand delivered by the bidder or his agent, or such bid shall be sent by United States Postal Service registered or certified mail with a return receipt requested or shall be submitted electronically with Central Auction House. Bids shall not be accepted or taken, including receiving any hand delivered bids, on days which are recognized as holidays by the United States Postal Service.

No bid received after the scheduled time for opening will be considered. Failure of the U.S. Mail to deliver the bids timely shall not be considered due cause for the scheduled time of the bid opening to be extended.
Project Name: Mississippi River Water Re-Introduction into Bayou Lafourche
Bids must be submitted on the Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form furnished with the Bidding Documents. A single set of Bidding Documents shall be issued at the cost of reproduction to contractors who are licensed by the Licensing Board of Contractors.
This Project shall require contractors wishing to submit a bid hold a current Louisiana Contractors license number for Heavy Construction and/or the Sub-Classification and/or Specialty: Dredging and/or the Specialty Classification of Coastal Restoration & Habitat Enhancement and Pump Stations. Contractors shall be a responsible bidder as defined by Louisiana Revised Statute 38:2216, who has an established business and who has demonstrated the capability to perform the Project with experience in heavy civil and structural construction with knowledge of pump stations or similar projects in the Mississippi River.
Bidding Documents for this Project are on file in the office of the Bayou Lafourche Fresh Water District Office, 1016 St. Mary St, in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Bid documents can be purchased for two hundred dollars ($200) at the Bayou Lafourche Fresh Water District. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on February 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the office of the Bayou Lafourche Fresh Water District, located at 1016 St. Mary Street in Thibodaux, Louisiana 70301.

The Bayou Lafourche Fresh Water District reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with Louisiana State Bid Law.
