Written Sealed Bid Submittal Form: For two (2) 2025 or newer, new and unused, Dual Axle, Fifth Wheel with 2 Line Wet Kit Day Cab Tractors with Specifications, Warranties, and Buyback without equipment bid price due Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. to Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com or Simpson County Board of Supervisors at 111 West Pine Ave., Mendenhall, MS 39114 or P.O. Box 308, Mendenhall, MS 39114. Bid price will be submitted by Reverse Auction.
Reverse Auction Date: Begins Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. and ends Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at www.centralbidding.com.
Final Bid Approval Date: Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at the Simpson County Board of Supervisors Meeting at 9:00 a.m. at the Board of Supervisors Board Room at 111 West Pine Ave., Mendenhall, MS.

Bidding will be held by electronic reverse auction beginning Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. and ending Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at www.centralbidding.com. (A reverse auction is one where the selling vendors may bid and re-bid against one-another until the lowest bid price is received.)
Registration with Central Bidding and acceptance of the Central Bidding Agreement is not optional and is required to participate in this bidding event. No exceptions will be made. This must be done prior to the Written Sealed Bid Submittal Form Deadline.

REVERSE AUCTION BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR:
Two (2) 2025 or newer, new and unused, Dual Axle, Fifth Wheel with 2 Line Wet Kit Day Cab Tractors. The lowest and best bid price will be determined based on the reverse auction bid price, net of the buyback amount. The Written Sealed Bid Submittal Form for the Day Cab Tractors including the specifications, warranties, and buyback listing are to be submitted in a separate written sealed bid, without equipment bid price, at www.centralbidding.com or the address listed above on or before 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

All bids must comply with the specifications provided. Simpson County reserves the right to amend the specifications, as necessary, and agrees to notify all having requested bid packets from Central Bidding or Simpson County Board of Supervisors.
The officials of the county reserve the right to accept the bid they deem is the lowest and best for the county. The buyer will be the final authority in determining the compliance with the specifications.
Reverse Auction is the only legal bidding method for this purchase as set by Mississippi State Law. The buyer reserves the right to reject any and all bids with or without cause.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days.
