INVITATION TO BID
 
Sealed bids will be received in the Purchasing Department of the Rapides Parish School Board Office Building, 619 Sixth Street, Alexandria, Louisiana 71301 until 11:00 AM, Monday, July 3, 2023 for:
 
      Auditorium Stage Renovations at Alexandria Senior High
    
(BID NO. 62-23-06A) 
 
After stamping to acknowledge timely receipt, the bids will be publicly opened and read by the Executive Committee and/or staff of the Rapides Parish School Board.  Sole responsibility for proper delivery of bid is that of the bidder.  Any offer received after closing time (11:00 AM, Monday, July 3, 2023) will be returned unopened.
 
To obtain specifications and bid forms, please contact the RPSB Purchasing Department by emailing your request to [email protected] or sending your written request to 619 Sixth Street, Alexandria, LA 71301.  Specifications and bid forms are also available at www.centralbidding.com; fees may be associated with the use of this site.
 
All bids must be accompanied by an original bid security equal to five (5%) of the total amount bid and must be in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, Bank Money Order or Bid Bond written by a company licensed to do business in the State of Louisiana.
 
There will be a Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 10:00 am at Alexandria Senior High – Front Lobby.
 
Award will not be made on the date of the bid opening, but will be awarded by the School Board at a later meeting.
 
Subject to the provisions of R.S. 38:2211, et seq., the Rapides Parish School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Each bidder, shall submit with their bid satisfactory evidence that they have complied with the requirements of the LA Contractor's Licensing Law, Louisiana R.S. 37:2150, et seq., and are fully qualified to enter into contract with the Rapides Parish School Board. 
 
Bid envelopes shall be marked with contractor’s name and "Auditorium Stage Renovations at Alexandria Senior High – Bid # 62-23-06A” and delivered to:
