BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL FIELD IMPROVEMENTS

Sealed bids subject to the conditions and provisions presented herein will be received until 10:00 a.m. Local Time, on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, and then publicly opened and read at Pearl River County School District Office located at 7441 Highway 11, Carriere, MS 39426, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete: Pearl River County School District – Baseball and Softball Field Improvements.  Electronic bids can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com.  For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call 225-810-4814.
 
The work under this contract includes Pearl River County School District – Baseball & Softball Field Improvements necessary to complete infield subgrade grading, outfield grading, aggregate drainage course, aggregate subbase course, subsurface drainage for infield synthetic turf, outfield sodding and other incidental items.  The synthetic turf installation is not part of this contract but will be provided by others.  All documents required for bidding purposes, including plans and specifications, may be obtained from Dungan Engineering, P.A., 925 Goodyear Blvd, Picayune, MS 39466.  A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 is required at the time of the request for Plans and Specifications or official bid documents can be downloaded from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com.   A copy of the plans and specifications may be examined at the office of Dungan Engineering, P.A., 925 Goodyear Blvd, Picayune, MS 39466 or viewed on Dungan’s website located at www.dunganeng.com.
 
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. local time, August 16, 2022, at the office of Dungan Engineering, P.A., 925 Goodyear Blvd., Picayune, Mississippi, 39466.  All interested parties are urged to attend this conference.
 
Bid preparation will be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders bound in the Documents.  The Pearl River County School District reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and/or all bids.

Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in whole by the Pearl River County School District. This procurement will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated.
