BID NOTICE
 
Sealed bids will be received by the Ascension Parish Government at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Department, 615 E. Worthey St., Gonzales, Louisiana 70737 (mailing address PO Box 2392, Gonzales, LA 70707-2392) on February 4, 2020 at 11:00am local time. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following:
 
TYPE HP - HIGH PERFORMANCE COLD MIX FOR PATCHING (FOR USE ON PARISH ROADS) 
Cold mix is to be delivered and stockpiled at the following locations:
 
ASCENSION PARISH PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT (EAST) 42077 CHURCHPOINT RD. GONZALES, LOUISIANA 70737
 
ASCENSION PARISH PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT (WEST) 725 CHURCH ST. DONALDSONVILLE, LOUISIANA 70346
 
ALTERNATE BID #1 
COLD MIX PICKED UP BY PARISH TRUCKS
 
Bids to be submitted on price per ton basis only, for a one year period to commence upon acceptance by Ascension Parish Council.
 
Specifications/bidding documents may be obtained at the Ascension Parish Government, Purchasing Department located at 615 E. Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737. Electronic Bids are accepted at Central Bidding http://www.centralauctionhouse.com.  For questions related to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at (225) 810-4814. All addenda, corrections, and responses to this public notice shall be posted to http://www.centralauctionhouse.com. The Ascension Parish Government shall not be responsible if the bidder cannot complete and submit a bid due to failure or incomplete delivery of the files submitted via internet.
 
The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any Bid, response to a Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana. Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
