Project Name: City Hall Annex 2 Chiller Replacement Project

Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City   Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time for this project, at which time bids will be opened and read.
 
Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
 
Project Scope:  Installation of a new 150-ton chiller and cooling tower in Annex 1 of the City of Tuscaloosa City Hall Complex.  Associated piping, removal of existing chillers at Annex 1 and Annex 2, and other incidental work are to be included in the scope.
 
Award of the contract will be made within fifty (50) calendar days from the date of the bid opening.
 
Plans and Specifications:  Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open for public inspection at Ward Scott Morris Architecture, Inc., designated as the office of the awarding authority for this purpose, located at 1606 Paul W. Bryant Drive, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.  Digital PDF documents may be downloaded free of charge at https://www.ward-scottplans.com/ and hard copy plans,  specifications  and  other  elements  of  the  contract  documents  may  be  ordered  from the same website and picked up at 2806 Greensboro Avenue, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35401.  A fully refundable deposit of $100.00 per set payable to TuscaBlue Printing and Sign Company is required at pickup.   The contact person for the project is Jordan Morris.  They can be reached at (205) 345-6110.
