ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Redstone Avenue at Brookmeade Dr Intersection Improvements will be received by the Crestview City Council at City Hall located at 198 N. Wilson Street, Crestview, FL,until 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at which time the Bids received will be “publicly” opened and read. This project consists of the realignment of Brookmeade Dr South of Redstone Ave to create an aligned, four-leg intersection with the north leg of Brookmeade Dr. The project will consist of utility relocations, drainage improvements, roadway widening and resurfacing, sidewalks, signing, marking, and signalization. The City has procured certain signalization components in advance of the project which are to be installed by the contractor. A Non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. local time, Crestview City Hall, Council Chambers, 198 N. Wilson St., Crestview, FL 32536.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis and awarded based
on the lump sum of the unit prices.

Thursdays between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Fridays between the hours of 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and
may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described above.
Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding
Documents are available as portable document format (PDF) files e-mailed free of charge. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Engineer of Record’s Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Engineer Office’s receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The nonrefundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $250 per set, payable to “Panhandle Engineering & Construction, Inc.”, plus a non-refundable shipping charge. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
