Either sealed paper bids or electronic bids for the construction of Interim Levee Improvements - Section E-North Borrow Pit Excavation will be received by the South Lafourche Levee District located at 17904 Hwy 3235, Galliano, LA  70354 until 10:00 AM local time, April 8, 2020, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Electronic bids must be submitted through www.centralauctionhouse.com prior to electronic bidding deadline.
 
The Project consists of excavation, spoil placement and other related items.
 
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for March 25, 2020 at 10:00 AM and will be held at the office of the South Lafourche Levee District  located at 17904 Hwy 3235, Galliano, LA.
 
No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the Bidder holds a Louisiana State Contractor's License in Highway, Street and Bridge Construction; or Heavy Construction; or Specialty: Dredging; or Specialty: Earthwork, Drainage and Levees, in full force and effect and in compliance with the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors and Louisiana Public Bid Law.

Box 687, Cut Off, Louisiana 70345.  Bidder’s cost for each set of documents is $50.00, which is the cost of reproduction. Deposits on the first set of documents, furnished to bona fide prime bidders will be fully refunded upon return of the documents, in good condition, no later than 10 calendar days after receipt of bids. All sets furnished to subcontractors and suppliers will be non-refundable. Good condition is defined as free of all pencil, pen, highlighter, and other marks, free of significant tears, and free of missing sheets or pages.  Partial sets of documents will not be issued.
