Please note the following corrections on the Portable Building & Vehicle Bid:
The bid deadline for this project has been extended. The new deadline to receive bids
will be Monday, October 4, 2021 by 10:00 am. All bid proposals must be forwarded to the East Carroll Parish School Board through the United States Postal Service or electronically online at www.centralbidding.com. NO HAND DELIVERED bid will be accepted. The bid opening will be Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 10:00 am at the East Carroll Parish School’s Central Office.
The minimum bid and building dimensions on the following buildings have been adjusted:

Sealed bid proposals will be received by the East Carroll Parish School Board until 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 20, 2021. All bid proposals must be forwarded to the East Carroll Parish School Board by certified mail through the United States Postal Service with minimum acceptable bids for the sale of the following surplus buildings.

NO HAND DELIVERED BIDS will be ACCEPTED. The envelope containing the sealed bid shall be addressed to the East Carroll Parish School Board, Post Office Box 792, Lake Providence, Louisiana 71254, ATTN: Meagan Brown, Superintendent and the exterior thereof shall be clearly marked “BUILDING & VEHICLE SURPLUS BID.”
All proposals in hand will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 and any proposals received subsequent to the opening will be returned unopened. General Conditions and Instructions to Bidders together with BID Form may be acquired from East Carroll Parish School Board 514 3rd Street, Lake Providence, Louisiana or by contacting Meagan Brown, Superintendent, telephone number (318) 559-2222.
Arrangements to inspect the buildings and vehicles may be made with Kendall Thompson, by telephone at (318) 559-2222 ext. 2021 or (318) 669-2162.
Award of the purchase will be made to the highest bidder at or over the minimum acceptable bid subject to acceptable and approval by the East Carroll Parish School Board. The bidder shall include a cashier’s check in the amount of 5% of the bid amount.
The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
