The St. Mary Parish Government, acting through its President, David Hanagriff, will receive sealed bids for "Boudreaux to Gilmore Drainage Improvements", St. Mary Parish Louisiana, at the Fifth Floor – Courthouse Building, Franklin, Louisiana 70538, until March 6, 2018, at 10:00 A.M., local time, at which time and place, they will be publicly opened and read aloud for all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to 1) replace existing pump station; 2) grubbing of the ingress canal; 3) junction box replacement; 4) installation of necessary hardware related. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid Proposal, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications and other pertinent documents may be examined at the following locations:
• Quality Engineering & Surveying, LLC, 18320 Hwy 42, Port Vincent, Louisiana.
• Parish Purchasing Office, Fifth Floor – Courthouse Building, Franklin, Louisiana. Copies of Plans and Specifications may be obtained from the office of Quality Engineering & Surveying, LLC upon receipt of $75.00. In accordance with R.S. 38.2212A(1)(e), deposits on the first set of documents furnished bona fide prime bidders will be fully refunded upon return of the documents, deposits on any additional sets will be refunded less the actual cost of reproduction. Refunds will be made upon return of the documents unmarked and in good condition if within ten days after receipt of bids.
To qualify to bid, each bidder shall be a properly licensed Contractor in accordance with La. R.S. 37: 2150-2163 for the classification of: Highway and Street Subsurface Drainage and Sewer, Earthwork; Drainage, and Levees; Culverts and Drainage Structures; Dams, Reservoirs and Flood Control Work Other Than Levees.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on February 15th at 10:00 A.M. at the Town of Berwick Town Hall, 3225 Third Street, Berwick, Louisiana 70342. All bidders must attend and subcontractors are encouraged to attend.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes.
Each bidder must deposit with his/her bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570.
A bidder may withdraw his bid after the bid opening only in accordance with La. R.S. 38:2214C.
Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact the St. Mary Parish Government no later than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening.
