Pensacola International Airport Tippin Avenue Parking Lot

<div style="text-align: justify;">This project is located on Tippin Avenue just north of Francis Taylor Blvd within the vacant parcel on Pensacola International Airport. This project is designed to help meet the increased parking demands experienced by the Pensacola International Airport. The proposed improvements include installing new stormwater pipes and inlets, new curb and gutter, a new stormwater pond fitted with a sand chimney, and paving an approximately square 18,000 square yard area. Other associated improvements include striping the new parking lot, sidewalk installation, installation of irrigation, landscaping, lighting, electric vehicle charging stations, bus shelters, and security call boxes. Responses will be opened at District Headquarters, 4049 Reid Street, Palatka, Florida 32177.<br /><br />NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE<br />A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for April 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Lake Apopka Field Station<br />The purpose of the pre-bid conference is to allow potential bidders an opportunity to review the project area and to present questions to staff and obtain clarification on the requirements of the bid documents.<br /><br />The objective of this project is the rehabilitation of two deteriorated 54” corrugated aluminum culverts. Each culvert shall be reinforced with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe culvert sleeve inserted with a low-density cellular grouting application to correct culvert leakage. In addition, the project entails reinstalling existing gates, repairing gate brackets as necessary to ensure a tight seal and continued operation of the gates, and repairing and repainting the existing walkway and railings.<br /><br />Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)<br />The District does not discriminate on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities. IFB 88792 - Resurface Headwaters Lake Parking Lot

The objective of this project is to resurface the existing parking lot and adjoining access points with asphalt. Limits of work are defined by all paved areas west of the entrance at Fellsmere Grade. The parking lot is approximately 240-feet by 340-feet wide with a 24-foot wide by 370-foot access driveway. All work shall comply with the latest edition of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. Pertinent sections of these specifications are referenced in the Statement of Work.

The Respondent’s proposal must match current coverage with the modifications as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
